Humanity is on the brink of extinction. Or so the Devils would have you believe. A freakish virus is infecting people, "evolving" them into vampire-like Devils, who see themselves as the new apex of the earth's food chain. One of these Devils, the recently turned Nishioka, is on a mission. If he succeeds, he could free the most dangerous threat to humanity-the beautiful and vicious Mariko. But is Nishioka's love for Mariko a strength, or the key to his undoing?
